Mungkin ramai yang tertanya-tanya bagaimana rupabentuk kereta keluaran PROTON yang akan datang dan terbaru. Dan mungkin ramai juga yang telah tahu namanya yang dikenali sebagai Proton Tuah atau P3-21A yang bakal dipasarkan tidak lama lagi.

Khabarnya model ini mungkin akan dipasarkan pada tahun 2012. Apa yang pasti, model ini dijangka dapat memenuhi kehendak pengguna dan mampu bersaing dengan model import.


Melihat dari bahagian dalaman pula, ciri yang diterapkan dalam model TUAH kali ini nampak begitu hebat dan lain dari model PROTON sebelum ini. Mungkin ini adalah evolusi terbaru yang mahu ditunjukkan PROTON bagi menyaingi model-model import yang berada di pasaran.

Namun yang pasti, kita semua pasti ingin tahu berapakah nilainya dan adakah nilainya sepadan dengan rekaan dan ketahanannya. Diharap pihak Proton mampu memberikan harga mampu milik kepada rakyat Malaysia kerana kenderaan ini adalah buatan Malaysia. Dengan ini ia pasti mampu menyaingi model import yang lain.

MY PROTON MAKEOVER - PROTON WIRA SEDAN

Tahniah diucapkan kepada pemilik kereta Proton Wira sedan, Encik Sashideran Radha Krishnan kerana telah berjaya menjadi pemenang Proton Makeover baru-baru ini.

INFO: PROTON EXORA BOLD PREMIUM & PRIME

Setelah kian lama dunia internet dihujani dengan pelbagai gambar-gambar dan serba sedikit info mengenai Proton Exora terbaru dengan CFE (Penggunaan bahan api yang lebih cekap). Ia datang dalam dua jenis iaitu Exora Bold Premium dan Exora

Proton Exora baru ini menggunakan enjin CFE dengan kuasa 138 hp pada 5000 rpm dan 205 Nm tork dari 2,000 hingga 4,000 rpm untuk 1.6 liter. Dipadankan dengan kotak gear CVT, kelajuan tertinggi bagi kereta ini adalah pada 185 km / h dan 0-100 km / h dilakukan di 13.3 saat.

Penggunaan bahan api pula adalah pada sekitar 7.8 liter per 100 km sahaja, ianya memang sangat-sangat menjimatkan bagi sebuah MPV yang bersaiz sama besar dengannya.

Selain itu, kedua-dua jenis Proton Exora yang menggunakan CFE + CVT, ia juga ditawarkan dalam bentuk perapi Eksekutif Bold (1.6L Campro CPS dengan manual atau auto penukar tork) dan perapi bukan Bold Standard, yang hanya didapati dalam bentuk manual.

Spec-bijak, CVT Premium Bold didatangkan dengan tempat duduk kulit, stereng dibalut kulit, lampu kabus depan, spoiler belakang, cermin sayap boleh lipat dengan kawalan elektrik, kawalan pelayaran dan kamera belakang dengan cermin pandangan belakang LCD. Kedua-duanya adalah sama dengan sistem yang dapat dilihat pada kereta Kia Forte 6-Kelajuan.

Proton secara rasmi telah mengeluarkan senarai harga OTR, di mana MT 1.6 Standard boleh didapati pada harga RM59, 998, MT Bold 1.6 Eksekutif pula pada harga RM70, 998, Bold 1.6 Eksekutif dengan harga RM74, 998 dan Bold 1.6 Premium CVT dengan harga RM79, 998. SISTEM BREK

Seperti yang kita tahu, brek sangat penting dalam sebuah kereta. Tanpanya tak mungkin kita berani memandu kereta tersebut sekiranya kita mengetahuinya.
Kepada pemilik kereta yang telah menukar injin kereta mereka kepada injin yang mempunyai "kuasa kuda membrek" atau BHP yang lebih tinggi (lebih 25 bhp ke atas), pastikan anda memeriksa dan menilai kembali sistem brek original yang ada pada kereta anda. Jangan kerana nak jimat, anda abaikan sistem brek anda. Lebih baik sekiranya semasa anda membeli haftcut kereta anda, beli bersama sistem brek kereta tersebut dan pasangkan pada kereta anda. Sistem asas brek terdiri dari disk atau drum, pelapik brek (pad brek), saluran minyak, pam vacum(objek besar hitam bulat leper betul-betul di hadapan steering dalam kompamen injin), tabung minyak injin, padel brek (tempat tekan brek). Kesemua peralatan asas yang di atas mestilah dijaga dengan baik supaya brek berkesan.

Kereta Baru

Semasa service pertama, minta mekanik memeriksa kesemua disk dan drum brek termasuk pelapik brek. Pastikan pelapik brek betul betul terapung di antara dua angkup dan disk berada di tengah. Untuk drum, pastikan pelapik brek tidak menyentuh drum atau kesan geseran yang kelihatan adalah sama rata. Jika tidak rata, minta mekanik periksa kerana perkara ini akan menjadi masalah bila ia dibiarkan. Kalau dapat minta mekanik melaraskan pedal brek supaya tidak terlalu 'makan' mengejut dan sesuai dengan panjang kaki kita. Sekiranya minyak brek sudah kotor(keruh warnanya), minta mekanik tukar.

Cara Penjagaan Sistem Brek.

1. Setiap sebulan sekali, periksa paras minyak brek kereta anda (botol minyak depan vacum pam). Pastikan minyak berada diparas antara minimum dan maksimum. JANGAN SEKALI-KALI MEMANDU SEKIRANYA PARAS MINYAK BREK BERADA DI BAWAH PARAS MINIMUM.
2. Setiap 6 bulan semasa kita hendak merotate tayar kereta kita, periksa pelapik brek. Pastikan lapisan pencengkam masih tebal. Sekira kita dapati pencengkam 'makan' tidak sama antara kiri dan kanan, minta mekanik periksa sistem saluran minyak brek atau sistem tekanan brek kerana kemungkinanatekana yang dikenakan ke atas kedua-dua brek tidak sama dan ini sangat merbahaya kepada pemanduan terutama membrek semasa kelajuan tinggi. Perkara yang sama juga perlu dilakukan kepada brek drum.
3. Sekiranya terdapat kesan lelehan minyak brek (kelihatan cat atau apa-apa bahan berasal dari petroleum mencair) pada mana-mana bahagian, minta mekanik memeriksanya. Jangan ambil mudah perkara ini kerana kebocoran ini mungkin keci tapi akan menjadi besar semasa membrek kerana tekanan yang dikenakan ke atasnya.
4. Semasa menambah minyak brek, pastikan minyak brek yang betul spesifikasinya. Dot 3 untuk kegunaan biasa (biasanya kereta yang mempunyai disk di depan dan drum di belakang) dan Dot 4 untuk kegunaan berat (untuk kereta yang mempunyai sistem 4 roda disk dan kereta berkuasa tinggi). Jika tidak pasti tanya mekanik kerana kesilapan minyak brek boleh menyebabkan keseluruhan sistem brek kita akan mengalami kerosakan terutama pada seal yang diperbuat daripada getah.
5. Sekiranya terdapat kesan calar pada disk atau pada drum, minta mekanik menilai samada boleh pakai lagi atau tidak. Jika kita hendak menukar pelapik brek, saya cadangkan asah kembali disk atau tukar drum kepada yang lebih baik. Kesan calar ini boleh menjadi penghalang pelapik brek mencengkam disk atau drum. Hasilnya, brek akan kurang berkesan.
6. Kerosakan yang selalu berlaku adalah brek 'jam'. Keadaan ini berlaku kerana pelapik brek tidak kembali terapung apabila kita lepaskan brek dan terus mencengkam disk. Kerosakan adalah pada angkup yang mengawal pelapik brek.
7. Untuk kereta auto, pelapik brek hadapan akan lebih cepat haus daripada belakang (biasanya dua kali ganda cepatnya), pastikan anda lebih kerap memeriksa pelapik brek hadapan.
8. Sekiranya anda ingin mengubahsuai sistem brek kereta anda, pastikan anda mendapat kebenaran bertulis daripada JPJ kerana adalah menjadi kesalahan dan syarikat insuran kita akan melindungi anda sekira kemalangan berlaku disebabkan sistem brek dan sistem brek anda telah ditukar tanap kebenaran JPJ.
9. Semasa memandu elakkan kaki daripad sentiasa berada di atas padel brek. Ini dapat menjimatkan penggunaan pelapik brek.

Akhir sekali, cuma pastikan setiap kali anda hantar kereta anda untuk ditukar minyak injin, minta mekanik memeriksa juga minyak brek, minyak gear box, pelapik brek, lampu brek ketiga, aras padel brek dan clucth, tekanan angin tayar, aligment tayar, spark plug, penapis angin, penapis petrol dan sebagainya. Jangan cuma tukar minyak hitam saje kerana peralatan lain perlu juga selalu diperiksa. Jangan tertipu dengan mekanik yang cuma menukar minyak hitam dan penapis minyak hitam apabila kita menghantar kereta untuk di service dan kita dikenakan bayaran yang tinggi untuk upahnya.

MEMERIKSA PUNCA STERENG KERETA BERAT

Ada ketikanya pemandu tidak berasa selesa apabila stereng menjadi semakin ketat dan berat. Anda perlu menggunakan lebih tenaga untuk memutar stereng dan keadaan ini menyusahkan terutamanya ketika meletak kenderaan dan apabila perlu banyak membelok.
Antara sebab keadaan ini berlaku termasuk tekanan tayar depan yang terlalu rendah, penjajaran (alignment) tayar depan yang kurang tepat, kekurangan atau kerosakan minyak pelincir di dalam kotak gear stereng, kekurangan gris pada sambungan rod stereng atau pengalas tayar depan dan penyelarasan yang kurang sempurna pada peralatan pengemudian.

Apabila berhadapan dengan keadaan sebegini, mula-mula periksalah tekanan tayar hadapan dan pelinciran sambungan rod stereng. Agar pemeriksaan dapat dilakukan dengan mudah, tongkatlah kenderaan hingga kedua-dua roda depan tergantung. Kemudian periksalah adakah sambungan dan skru sistem pengemudian cukup ketat.
Antara bahagian yang harus diutamakan pemeriksaannya termasuk kotak gear stereng, sambungan bebola atau gantungan depan termasuk hujung dan pangkal rod pengikat. Untuk mengetahui kerosakannya, putarlah stereng ke kiri dan ke kanan. Selepas itu putarlah stereng ke kanan penuh, kemudian gerakkan stereng sedikit ke kiri dan ke kanan.

Sistem pengemudian mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting, maka waspadalah terhadap pelbagai kelainan yang wujud. Dalam keadaan lain pula, ketika memandu kenderaan di atas jalan yang datar, stereng terasa cenderung untuk berputar ke sesuatu arah. Jadi, stereng terpaksa dipegang dengan kuat untuk mengelakkannya terus berputar ke satu arah.

Keadaan ini biasanya terjadi disebabkan tekanan tayar kiri dan kanan yang tidak sama, diameter rim kiri dan kanan yang tidak sama, penyelarasan penjajaran roda depan kurang tepat, pegas (spring) gantungan depan yang sudah lemah, patah atau kurang baik pemasangannya, penggalas roda depan sudah rosak atau kurang baik penyelarasannya dan brek dari salah satu roda depan atau belakang bergesel.
Apabila berhadapan dengan keadaan ini, pertama pastikan bahawa beban kenderaan cukup seimbang. Kemudian periksalah sama ada kedua-dua tayar depan dan belakang sama tekanannya. Jika tidak, samakan. Pandu kenderaan perlahan-lahan di atas jalan datar. Luruskan arah kenderaan, rasa dan perhatikan bagaimana kenderaan berjalan. Apabila kenderaan masih cenderung untuk membelok ke satu arah, hentikan kenderaan dan lakukan pemeriksaan seterusnya.

Diameter luar rim kiri dan kanan (untuk roda depan dan belakang) harus sama. Kemudian periksa adakah salah satu pegas depan sudah lemah atau patah. Selain itu, ada kemungkinan juga penyelarasan brek kurang baik atau hanya sebelah yang berfungsi.

PUNCA PENGGUNAAN MINYAK PETROL BERTAMBAH

Sebelum ini anda mengisi RM30 untuk mengisi petrol kereta anda dan boleh bergerak hingga 200 kilometer. Kini dengan jumlah yang sama kereta anda cuma dapat bertahan 150 kilometer saja. Ada yang mengatakan kereta anda sudah kuat makan petrol.
Penggunaan petrol yang bertambah disebabkan beberapa faktor seperti kebocoran, permukaan bahan api dalam ruang pelampung karburetor terlalu tinggi, penapis udara tersumbat atau pelarasan skru pada karburetor kurang tepat.

Selain itu, ia mungkin berpunca daripada saat penyalaan kurang tepat, plag haus, suis pemutus arus terbakar, mampatan tidak cukup, injap yang tidak berfungsi, ekzos tersumbat, masalah pada cekam atau brek bergesel.
Bagi mengetahui puncanya, pertama, pemilik perlu memeriksa dengan melihat pada tempat meletak kenderaan.

Jika ada bekas titisan minyak atau terhidu bau petrol di kawasan itu, bermakna kenderaan mungkin mengalami kebocoran dan ia perlu dihantar ke bengkel untuk dibaiki. Antaranya, menggunakan gear dua atau tiga terlalu lama sebelum menukar ke gear seterusnya, tabiat menekan pedal minyak terlalu kuat ketika pemanduan mendatar atau menuruni bukit boleh menyebabkan penggunaan petrol yang berlebihan. Sehubungan itu, apabila anda melakukan pelarasan enjin, ia membantu mengurangkan penggunaan petrol sehingga 15 peratus di samping teknik memandu yang salah juga menjadi punca penggunaan petrol melebihi 20 peratus atau lebih.
Di samping itu, anda juga perlu mengetahui apabila membawa bebanan yang lebih daripada kadar yang sesuai juga menyebabkan kadar penggunaan petrol melebihi dari tahap biasa.

Oleh itu, anda perlu perhatikan dalam but kereta anda, mungkin ada banyak barang yang tidak sepatutnya berada dalam but tetapi dibawa ke sana ke mari. Ia pasti menambah beban enjin.
Anda harus membawa barang yang perlu saja seperti alat membaiki kereta dan alat yang dapat membantu ketika kecemasan.

Karier (alat membawa barang atas bumbung kereta) juga boleh menambah penggunaan petrol pada kadar lima peratus. Karier menghalang udara berlepas ke belakang dengan sempurna ketika kereta memecut.

TAYAR HAUS ANTARA PUNCA KENDERAAN BERGETAR

Ada ketikanya pemandu kereta tidak selesa apabila stereng yang dipegang bergetar dan tidak stabil kerana berat ke sebelah kiri atau kanan. Lebih merisaukan apabila seluruh badan kereta ikut bergetar.
Apabila berhadapan dengan keadaan ini, antara sebab utama kerosakan yang berlaku diberi perhatian termasuk tekanan tayar depan terlalu rendah atau ukurannya tidak sama, kehausan tayar depan tidak sama, kehausan atau kelonggaran sambungan sistem kemudi atau kotak gear stereng bergoyang, penyelarasan jajaran roda depan kurang tepat dan roda depan tidak seimbang.

Jika menghadapi masalah seperti itu pemandu dan penumpang pasti tidak selesa, lebih-lebih lagi jika sedang dalam perjalanan jauh. Untuk itu, punca kerosakan dan getaran perlu diketahui. ZULKIFLI (tengah) menunjukkan sijil kursus automotif yang diterimanya pada majlis konvokesyen Kolej Komuniti Wilayah Perak di Ipoh, semalam.

Pemuda mahu jadi mekanik, buka perniagaan

Mohamad Zulkifli Othman, 21, mempunyai ketinggian satu meter, manakala kedua-dua kakinya pendek, beliau bukan saja nampak begitu kerdil tetapi menghadapi kesukaran bergerak pantas dan ketika berjalan, seolah-olah sedang mengheret satu bebanan yang berat.

Namun, kekurangan itu langsung tidak melemahkan semangat anak sulung daripada tiga beradik itu menanam tekad bagi mencipta kejayaan terutama dalam bidang automotif, kemahiran yang digemarinya sejak bersekolah rendah lagi.

Bagi Mohamad Zulkifli, tiada apa yang lebih menggembirakan selain memperoleh sijil kemahiran automotif yang diidamnya selepas berjaya menamatkan pengajian selama dua tahun di Kolej Komuniti Grik.

“Sejak di sekolah lagi saya memang berminat dengan bidang ini dan pernah mengikut kawan membaiki motosikal setiap kali ada masa terluang.

“Jika ada rezeki, saya mahu menjadi mekanik berjaya dan membuka perniagaan sendiri kerana ia adalah cita-cita saya sejak kecil,” katanya ketika ditemui pemberita selepas Majlis Konvokesyen Kolej Komuniti Wilayah Perak di sini, semalam.

Pada majlis itu, 824 menerima sijil masing-masing dalam bidang Automotif, Teknologi Maklumat, Teknologi Elektrik, Pelancongan dan Pengembaraan, Fesyen dan Pakaian, Teknologi Pembuatan Perabot, Fesyen dan Aparel, Multimedia Kreatif (Animasi), Pelukis Pelan Senibina, Pemprosesan dan Kawalan Mutu Makanan, Teknologi Elektrik (Pemasangan dan Perkhidmatan), Hotel Katering dan Industri Seramik dari lima Kolej Komuniti di Perak.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pelajaran, Pengajian Tinggi, ICT, Sumber Manusia, Sains dan Teknologi Perak, Datuk Mohamad Zahir Khalid, menyampaikan sijil berkenaan.

Mohamad Zulkifli yang juga anak penoreh getah berkata, beliau bernasib baik kerana menerima dorongan daripada keluarga serta sokongan rakan sekuliah sepanjang mengikuti kuliah di kolej berkenaan.

Projek Inovasi di Automotif

Demo di bengkel automotif untuk salah projek inovasi iaitu mematikan sistem enjin dengan menggunakan telefon bimbit. Para pelajar tertarik dengan projek inovasi ini yang boleh menarik minat para pelajar untuk merekacipta dan mencetus idea di dalam menghasilkan projek inovasi.

Latihan Service dan Flushing Automatic Transmission

Pelajar dari kumpulan 2 sem. 2 sedang menjalani latihan amali servis Automatic transmission dengan menggunakan mesin changer sebagai pendedahan kepada pelajar dengan penggunaan mesin terkini untuk kerja-kerja Service Auto Transmission dan Flushing Auto Transmission.

Latihan Modul Periodical Maintenance

Pelajar tahap 1 sesi 1/2011 sedang menjalani latihan amali bagi modul 1 "Periodical Maintenance" iaitu salah satu tasknya ialah 'Membersih dan Mencuci Kereta". Modul ini adalah task asas di dalam penjagaan sesebuah kereta dan memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar tentang kepentingan menjaga kebersihan ke atas kereta. Sebagai contoh jika sesebuah kereta mempunyai banyak kekotoran pada bahagian luar boleh menyebabkan catnya cepat rosak dan apabila banyak debu atau kekotoran dalam kereta boleh menjejaskan sistem penghawa dingin kereta tersebut.

Aktiviti Rancak di Bengkel Automotif ILP Kota Kinabalu

Aktiviti harian pelajar-pelajar sesi 1/2011 di bengkel Automotif giat menjalani latihan amali dan menyiapkan projek untuk kegunaan di bengkel ini.

Rombakrawat Gearbox Proton

Pelajar sem. 2 sesi 1/2011 sedang menjalani latihan amali merombakrawat gearbox manual proton yang untuk syarat ketrampilan dalam tahap 2. Semua pelajar terlibat tekun menjalankan kerja-kerja amali untuk meningkatkan tahap kemahiran masing-masing di dalam rombakrawat gearbox.
